Relax in rustic charm while cultivate friendships around the large stone fireplace. Primarily heated by a wood stove, Heart's Rest also has propane heat. Heart's Rest Cottage is the ideal place for your family or group to relax and unwind. The sleeping area is one large room and can accommodate up to 12 people. Groups that require greater privacy can rent Freedom Cottage, right next door, and guys can stay in one cottage and the girls in the other. This arrangement works well for groups of 20 or less.

The kitchen area is part of the open floor plan of the first floor which adds to the feeling of togetherness that you will feel as soon as your group walks through the door.

This cottage has a refrigerator, sink, stove, utensils, plates, cups and cookware provided. To help in meal preparation there is also a microwave, electric fry pan, roaster and coffee pot available.

Heart's Rest is the ideal place for sportsman's base camps, ministry teams or just about any group looking for that peaceful getaway that is still close to the many great attractions of Northern Michigan.
